Bar loads

Definition of loads via load cases and various load types for bar elements

To define a new load case

1. Select the line in the construction sequence table according to which the load case is to be created.
2. Go to the Actionbar and click LOADCASE.

   A new entry for the load case is created in the construction sequence table.

3. Define the load case properties in the properties window as described in LOADCASE.
4. Click on the desired load type in the action bar (or select it from the drop-down list at the end of the task area) to create a new load entry for the load case.

   A new entry for the previously created load case is generated in the construction sequence table.

5. Define the load properties in the properties window as described in the corresponding submenus of LOADCASE.
6. Assign the elements to be added to the load entry via Assemblies here.
7. Optionally define further load entries for the same load case (back to 4.).
