Design Checks

Perform design checks and generate respective reports as MS-Word-files

To generate a new task for a design check

• Click the tool of the desired design check and edit the particular opening input windows.

  The task is added to the table in the View window with its name and its description and you can edit its parameters there or in the Property window (directly, or by clicking the button Edit). Assign the structural members/elements to be considered for the particular tasks by assemblies.

General information regarding checks:

Within the inputs denoted as env for the envelopes you can also directly refer to combinations and combination groups (see Combinations). In doing so, it is not required to create those in advance using the calculation tasks COMBROW and COMBGROUP, respectively, which in this case is done automatically. Thereby, the same rules and principles apply as described within these tasks, especially regarding the input of day.

Moreover, the input day within the design tasks defines the time/day in the construction phases, which should be taken for the check (i.e. state of the structure/cross section, tendons, concrete age). If this input is empty (or zero), then the time (start day) in the construction phases is taken, at which this design task is performed.
