Feature: 3D View

Eye Point

Enter the coordinates of the eye point.
You can also get the coordinates of an existing point by clicking the Select button (not available when you activate the dialog box from the building structure)To get all the coordinates with a single click, you must click a "genuine" point.

Target point

Enter the coordinates of the target point.
You can also get the coordinates of an existing point by clicking the Select button (not available when you activate the dialog box from the building structure)To get all the coordinates with a single click, you must click a "genuine" point.

Focal length

Focal length

The focal length is based on the format of the camera. The lower the focal length, the larger the viewing angle.

perspective

By selecting the Perspective view option, you switch from parallel projection to central projection. The setting selected here is equivalent to the Perspective view feature in the Viewport Toolbar and directly affects the setting there.

When central projection is selected and you open the View type palette for the RTRender view type, you can decide whether you want to render the scene in the default view or in two-point perspective (Projection type setting).

Note: Bitmap areas, OLE objects and color surfaces with gradients are not visible in central perspective.

Window size

Define the size of the active viewport (only possible if Connected is not selected).

Image depth coordinates

Variable control of depth of field of your scene via box and focus distance.

Buttons at the bottom of the palette

Match properties

Matches all settings from a different viewport (not available when you activate the dialog box from the building structure).

Load favorite, Save as a favorite

Saves the current view or loads a view you have already saved.

Close

Closes the palette.
