BARON-C couplers
Tool(s): Coupler, Thread, Connecting Bar
The following couplers are currently available in the article catalog.
- Couplers of type W are designed to connect bars of the same diameter, provided the connecting bar is free to move lengthwise and can be rotated freely in the second phase.
- Anchor couplers of type A are designed to connect structural steel (B500) with screws having metric threads. Extra-long BARON-C couplers allow the user to adjust the screw within the coupler.
They are designed to be used in high-performance anchor plates and connections between concrete structures and steel structures. - Standard Transition couplers of type F are designed to connect two reinforcing bars of different diameter.
Having a matching thread, the transition coupler of type F reduces the diameter to the smaller bar diameter. - Transition couplers of type W are also used to connect two reinforcing bars of different diameter.
Having a matching thread, the transition coupler of type W reduces the diameter to the smaller bar diameter. - End anchorage couplers of types AF and E provide anchorage of reinforcing bars with a reduced anchorage length.
Forged ancoFIX anchorage can be used for the following bar diameters: d=14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 26 and 30 mm. - Positional couplers of type P1 are used in applications in which the connecting bar cannot be rotated (for example, stirrup).Positional coupler P1 is planned in the first phase and coupling bar P2 with the thread BCZ in the second phase.
Note: It is the user who selects the coupler. The program does not check whether the selected coupler can be used with the existing bending shapes (for example, you will not be informed if you select a coupler of the W type for a bar that cannot be rotated).
