Coupler, Thread, Connecting Bar

Grupo de herramientas Bar Reinforcement

You can use this tool to apply couplers and threads or coupling and connecting bars to schema bars or placements in order to fasten two reinforcing bars mechanically, anchor reinforcing bars in concrete and attach reinforcing bars to steel components.

To create couplers, threads and connecting bars

• Requirements for creating couplers, threads and connecting bars: a placement that consists of bars cut to length (placement in polygon) and that is created with the 3D reinforcement model and a schema.
  You cannot apply couplers and threads to reinforcement placed per meter, reinforcement placed in rotation and circular reinforcement.

1. Click Coupler, Thread, Connecting Bar (How).
   

   Activate Coupler, Thread, Connecting Bar in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Rol Ingeniería Tarea Armado Grupo de herramientas Barras de armado

   • Menu bar: Create Engineering Bar Reinforcement

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Bar Reinforcement

2. Select the required manufacturer on the context toolbar and one of the tools for creating couplers, threads and connecting bars or click OK if you want to use the manufacturer and tool that are already selected.
   
   
   
   Click a tool for more information.

   In addition, you can access the Documentation and Homepage of the selected manufacturer by clicking the relevant tool on the context toolbar.

3. Create the couplers, threads and connecting bars as you require. The approach varies depending on the selected tool.
4. Use reports to analyze the couplers, threads and connecting bars. The following reports are available
   • Reinforcement Reports tool (How): “Couplers, nuts, threads.rdlc", "Reinforcement schedule - bending shapes.rdlc" (including steel grades) and "Reinforcement schedule - bending shapes, summary.rdlc".
     To analyze the products of the manufacturer Annahütte separately, use the following filter criterion:
     Bar reinforcement filter&MID(short name of steel grade;0;3)="SAS"
