You can use this tool to convert layouts to numerous file types. You can optimize transfer by defining detailed configuration settings and assignment settings.

By using the ODX interfaces, you can convert files from and to numerous formats. The following overview shows the file types you can export and import. The file types that are actually available to you depend on the configuration purchased.

The following file types are available:

• AutoCAD files of versions V12, 2000, 2004, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2018 in the following formats: .dwf (export only), .dwg, .dwt, .dxb, .dxf
  

  DXF (Drawing (dibujo) - EXchange (intercambio) - Format (formato)) es un formato de archivos especial. Los archivos DXF son archivos ASCII que incluyen información relativa a un dibujo en un formato que podría utilizarse o procesarse con otros programas. Por eso, entre otras cosas, los archivos DXF se podrán usar para intercambiar dibujo entre varios sistemas CAD. Allplan ofrece varias herramientas para la producción de datos como un archivo DXF o su lectura.

  

  DXB (Drawing Interchange Binary) son archivos binarios con una codificación especial.

  

  DWT (DraWing Template) es un archivo de plantilla de AutoCAD.

  DWF (Drawing Web Format) is a is a special file format, which AutoCAD creates from DWG-format files. DWF files can be displayed in the World Wide Web.

• Microstation files (.dgn)
• HPGL2 files (import only)
• SVG files (export only)

To export layouts

1. Switch to layout editor by selecting the Layout Editor task in the Actionbar configuration or by clicking Layout Editor (How).
   

   Activate Layout Editor in one of the following ways

   • Barra del menú: Archivo

   • Toolbar: Default
2. Click Export Layouts (How).
   

   Activate Export Layouts in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Task Layout Editor Grupo de herramientas Layout Editor

   • Menu bar: Create Layout

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Layout

3. Use the Layout structure to select the layouts you want to export or click Cancel to quit the tool.
4. Select the elements you want to transfer if you have selected the Export part option using the Options, Import and export page, DXF, DWG export area.
   

   • Para seleccionar un elemento individual, haz clic en él.
   • Para seleccionar los elementos en un rectángulo de selección, mantén el botón izquierdo del ratón e incluye los elementos que quieras un rectángulo de selección.
   • Algunas herramientas te permitirán seleccionar todos los elementos en el documento activo haciendo clic en Todo en las opciones de entrada o pulsado CTRL + A.

   Al seleccionar los elementos puedes usar los filtros, que te permitirán filtrar por tipo de elemento o propiedad. Para más información ve a la sección Usar filtrar.

   Note: You can select elements in the current layout only. The elements of all other layouts will be transferred automatically. Elements on hidden layers will be exported if you have selected the Export hidden layers option using the Options, Import and export page, DXF, DWG export area.

5. Specify the file type, folder and the file to be exported.
6. Select a favorite for exchange and a configuration file near the bottom of the dialog box.
7. Click Options... to make advanced configuration settings (e.g., scale and unit of length).
8. Click Save.

   Allplan starts the automatic assignment.

9. When all the assignments are complete or when Allow incomplete assignments is selected in the settings, you can see a dialog box where you can still alter the assignments and save the configuration settings to a file.
   If the assignments are incomplete, the Configuration for Conversion dialog box appears. You can make assignments in this dialog box.

10. To save the configuration you created for later use, click Save.
11. Click OK to start exporting.
12. Check the log file and click OK.

    Whenever you export or import data with the ODX interface, the program automatically creates a log file. This provides information on the success or failure of the transaction and includes a detailed list of all the settings and assignments used for the transfer operation. This way, you can record the conversion operation and reconstruct it with the saved settings.

    When the Log file option is selected in the Settings, Advanced Settings tab, the log file automatically appears on screen when the conversion process is complete. When this option is not selected, you can display the most recent log file by selecting Show Recent Log File (Allplan icon - Export or Import).
