Upgrade installation on a network

Before starting the upgrade installation, both Allplan and Services application must be closed on all workstations in the network. You cannot work while upgrading. Once the upgrade is complete on all the workstations, you can resume work.

To perform a program upgrade to Allplan 2022 on a network

• You have administrator rights for the network in question
• You have downloaded and unpacked the installation package (see “Downloading and unpacking the installation package”)
• Read the following before installing:
  • System requirements for Allplan 2022
  • Installation with existing installation of Allplan
  • Prior to installing: Backing up data

1. Close Allplan and Services application on all workstations. You can only continue working with Allplan or Services application after the upgrade installation has been completed on all workstations.
2. Install Allplan 2022 on all workstations as described for the Upgrade installation on a standalone workstation.
3. On each machine, verify that Allplan 2022 starts correctly.
