The Space Allocation Wizard was specially developed in response to requests from architectural practices participating frequently in competitions. The Space Allocation Wizard lets you enter and display space allocation plans in Allplan.
The required floor areas of rooms are created quickly and easily based on alphanumeric information, allowing you to design the rough building structure.
Space allocation plans can be imported as xls-format files and/or exported to and modified in the Space Allocation Wizard.
Up to 150 Allplan rooms are then created at the press of a button. These rooms can be placed in the workspace. You can also position them one after the other. The attributes assigned are available and can be analyzed, evaluated and changed in Allplan as usual. The data can also be exported from Allplan as an xls or txt list.
Rooms exported in this manner can also be edited using MS Excel or an editor. When you create a modified space allocation plan (list) in the same drawing file, the program does not generate new rooms. Rather, the existing rooms are detected and updated. If you, however, create the modified space allocation plan in a different drawing file, the rooms are placed in the new drawing file so that the coordinates do not change.
Note: The Space Allocation Wizard program is only available in the project-oriented Allplan packages.
