The Services application provides a number of additional tools and programs you can use without having to start Allplan.
Note: When you start the Services application, you can see the following information in the output window:
user name, computer name, current document size, user folder, program folder, general program data folder, central file storage folder, office standard, network folder, workgroup and setting of Allplan logging.
Overview of menu items:
The File menu covers the transfer and conversion of data using the external path.
The DXF/DWG menu combines tools for administering BAMTEC and DGM files as well as providing TAI files.
These utilities provide help with important tools, such as deleting certain types of data or installing a new license file.
This menu is available only for network versions with workgroup manager. You can use it to configure the Allplan network and to display network information.
You can use the Data Backup menu to back up and restore data.
This menu lets you tell your system which hardware it can access. "Configuring a system" means optimizing the interplay between hardware and software.
The Service menu contains tools and utilities that you can use for program maintenance and to facilitate communication with Technical Support.
This menu provides information about memory capacity, date, time of day and program version.
