External path

The 'external data buffer' constitutes a buffer for data of different types.. For example, it facilitates the exchange of data between various program versions and the reading-in of external data. You can back up the data in the external path in one step using the tools on the File menu in the Services application.

You can set the folder for the external path in ProjectPilot. The default is ...\Users\Windows_user_name\Documents\Nemetschek\Allplan\2014\Extern.
