Standard views

You can specify the view to be used to display the smart symbol foils in the preview. Plan view is set by default. The view you select is also used for the Smart symbol foils tab.

You can check how the display of the smart symbol changes with the scale or drawing type.
In the preview of the smart symbol, all the foils are displayed together.

When you open this tab, a separate preview is displayed for each foil.

Tip: The foil you click here is selected in the Smart symbol foils area at the top. This can be useful when you need to modify a foil.
Changes can only be made in the top part of the dialog box. Click to open the structure tree of the selected foil or use the shortcut menu.

Options

You can specify visual aids for the preview so that you can differentiate between the individual foils and their elements.

Show in all smart symbol foils

When you select this check box, the preview of the foils also includes elements that belong to different foils.

Brightness

You can use this slide bar to brighten up the elements that do not belong to the foil.

Size of display

You can use this slide bar to change the size of the preview windows of the individual foils.
