Configuration(s) Double wall: entry + Concrete wall: entry + Brick wall: entry + Thermal wall: entry + Sandwich wall: entry
Labeling of elements in Allplan drawings. You can define labels for the precast element and associative views.
'Mark no. line' + 'Lines 1,2' + 'Lines 3,4' + 'Line 5' tabs
You can specify the scope of the label for the precast element. You can make entries for the mark number line and five additional lines.
Pattern:
Entry of text to be used in label. Formatting characters are used as placeholders for variable values such as element length and width. The program replaces the formatting characters with the corresponding values. Enter the formatting characters as follows:
%s: for strings
%d: for integers
%f: for floating point numbers
You can also define how strings and numbers are output:
%10s: output of 10 characters minimum (with blanks).
%-10s: as above, left-aligned.
When you enter a point (".") between "%" and the number, the resulting string is truncated to the number specified.
For example, entering %.4s changes the "1234567" string to "1234".
%3d: output of 3 characters minimum (with blanks).
%03d: as above; however, zeros (e.g. 002) are added.
%.3f: output of 3 decimal places.
%6.3f: output of a total of 6 characters (including decimal point) and 3 decimal places.
Example showing how to enter text
Variable:
Enter an arithmetical expression for each wildcard. The ',' character is used as a separator. Arithmetical expressions can be arithmetical operators, numbers and variables.
Possible variables
Note: The algorithm used for labeling makes sure that the labels of superimposed wall elements do not overlap.
'Views' tab
You can define the scope and position of the label for associative views of precast elements.
Pattern:
Variable:
Entry of text and associated variable to be used in the label (analogous to definition of mark number line of precast elements).
Position of label for 2D views and sections:
Position of label for 3D views:
Select the position of the label. If you do not want to create a label for a view type, select None.
'Text attributes' tab
Definition of text attributes for:
Mark number line,
Text lines below mark number
Text in associative views
Enter the required attributes as follows:
H=..., W=..., A=..., F=..., P=..., C=...
. Information on the units is provided in the overview of the available attributes. If you do not enter values, the defaults are used.
'Symbols' tab
This tab is only available for walls that are created with the Wall Element Design tool.
You can specify whether Leaf 1 (for double and thermal walls) or the Formwork bottom (for concrete and sandwich walls) are marked with a symbol created at a scale of 1:1 in Allplan and saved in the Office path. The symbol is placed at the wall so that the reference point is located on the wall edge. Bear this in mind when you define the symbol's base point.
Representation / File no. / Entry no.
If you want to display a symbol, select Yes for the Representation and specify the symbol file (File no.) and the entry (Entry no.).
Note: If multiple wall elements are positioned above each other due to horizontal division, the symbol for the wall element at the bottom is closest to the wall, and the symbols for the other elements are placed beside the mark label.
If you select a horizontal division, the symbol is always placed on the same side as the label (the side of the design identifier). This also applies to wall types where the symbol is usually placed on the side opposite the design identifier (double and concrete walls). In this case, the symbol is rotated correctly.
Please note that if you "freeze" a wall resulting in multiple elements that are on top of each other, the text parameters for all labels should be identical so that the labels do not overlap.
