Prompts configuration entry

Configuration(s): Half floor: entry + Hollow core element: entry + Concrete slab: entry

These values are the default prompts for the design parameters.

Standard panel thickness: (half floor only)

The standard value for panel thickness. This is where you enter the minimum panel thickness. In the reinforcement type catalog, you can define additional concrete thickness to ensure that the panel automatically has the required thickness for the calculated reinforcement types. You can also do this manually during the design calculation process.

Standard concrete cover:

The standard value for concrete cover.

Standard slab thickness: (half floors and concrete slabs only)

The standard value for slab thickness.

Concrete grade:

Default concrete grades for the design. The list box includes all the entries that are defined in the concrete grade catalog and assigned to the current factory.

Exposure class:

Default for the exposure class.
You need to include the exposure class in reinforcement drawings according to DIN 1045-1, section 4.2.1 (3). Cement formulation, minimum concrete cover and minimum concrete strength grade depend on the exposure class.

Concrete topping: (concrete slabs only)

At the moment this value has no effect.

In-situ concrete grade: (half floor only)

Default concrete grade of the in-situ concrete for design. The list box includes all the entries that are defined in the concrete grade catalog and assigned to the current factory.

Surface property: (half floor only)

Default surface property of the precast panel for design. The surface property affects the permissible vRd,ct value (in accordance with the equation 84 for analyses).

'Loads/struct. analyses prompts' tab

Structural item:

Imposed load:

Proposed imposed load in [kN/m2].

Floor structure:

Proposed deadweight load without dead weight of slab (floor structure, factor for partition etc.)

as-req.:

Proposed 'as required'.

Prompt required bar cross-section:

Select this check box if you want to calculate the reinforcement based on the 'as required' value.

'Reinforcement prompts' tab

Reinforcement type:

Proposed reinforcement type for design. The list box includes all the entries that are defined in the reinforcement type catalog and assigned to the current factory.

Shortening 2./3. longit.dm.:

Proposed shortening of second and third longitudinal bar layers.

Lattice girder type: (half floor only)

Proposed lattice girder type for design. The list box includes all the entries that are defined in the lattice girder catalog and assigned to the current factory.

Prompt reinforcement type:

Select this check box if you want to select the reinforcement type yourself. If the Prompt required bar cross-section option is also selected, the program calculates the reinforcement type from these entries.
