NC generator configuration, cross wire machine

NC generator configuration

'produce' tab

Max. number of data blocks:

You can set a maximum for the number of data blocks. If a pallet exceeds this number, then the rest of the data is discarded. It is necessary to do this as otherwise the reinforcement machine may crash if it has to handle too much data.

Produce bottom cross bars layer 1:

These "bottom" cross bars are used in slabs, wall elements and for the bottom reinforcement in hollow plank units.

No: the bottom cross bars in layer 1 are not produced. (e.g., prefabricated cross bars)

As longitudinal wire: the bottom cross bars in layer 1 are produced on the longitudinal wire machine.

As cross wire: the bottom cross bars in layer 1 are produced on the cross wire machine.

Note:
Always choose the As longitudinal wire setting for UNITECHNIK drivers.

Produce bottom cross bars layer 2:

No: the bottom cross bars in layer 2 are not produced. (e.g., prefabricated cross bars)

As longitudinal wire: the bottom cross bars in layer 2 are produced on the longitudinal wire machine.

As cross wire: the bottom cross bars in layer 2 are produced on the cross wire machine.

Note:
Always choose the As longitudinal wire setting for UNITECHNIK drivers.

Produce top cross bars layer 1, Produce top cross bars layer 2:

These "top" cross bars are used for the top reinforcement of hollow plank units.

The settings are similar to those for bottom cross bars.

Producible diameters [mm]:

Enter the diameters that the reinforcement machine can handle.

You can enter one or more values. Example: 6, or 6,8,10, .

Non-producible lengths:

You can enter lengths that you do not wish produced. With this feature you can exclude certain bars from production e.g., prefabricated cross bars.

You can enter one or more values. Example: 0-0.199 or 0-0.199, 2.485,

Produce non-producible cross bars:

Bars that cannot be produced on the cross wire machine because of their length or diameter can be passed to the longitudinal wire machine or discarded.

No: cross bars are not produced.

As longitudinal wire: cross bars are produced on the longitudinal wire machine.

Note:
Always choose the As longitudinal wire setting for UNITECHNIK drivers.

'Miscellaneous' tab

Insertion angle for wall / slab robot:

Enter the angle to which the robot can place the cross bars.

You can enter one or more values. Example: 0, or 0, 90, .

Grab offset for double grab:

At the moment this parameter is not used.

Spacers for bottom / top cross bars

No, layer 1, layer 2, layers 1+2

You can set whether and for which bars spacers are transferred.

'Bundling' tab

Bundle bottom / top cross bars:

No, layer 1, layer 2, layers 1+2

You can specify whether and which cross bars produced by the cross wire machine are to be placed as "bundled". "Bundling" means that the relevant bars are placed at one (particular) coordinate location.

These bars are then placed by hand.

Bundle free cross bars:

No, layer 1, layer 2, layers 1+2, disable

Parameter relating to free (non-weldable) bars in the system for welding meshes. The settings are similar to the above parameter.

Storing bars at the start of the panel

Displacement of bars in x direction [m]:

Displacement of bars in y direction [m]:

Bundled cross bars are normally placed at the start of the panel. You can use the above parameters to move the drop-in point e.g., on to the cross shutter.

Calculate and set insertion angle:

The insertion angle for a cross bar is normally 90°. This angle is also transferred for bundled bars. Select Calculate and set insertion angle - Yes to "recalculate" the insertion angle and set it to 0°.

Although at the moment we are not aware of a situation nor a reinforcement machine where these functions are required, for the sake of completeness the toggle is virtually fully functional (the same applies for the longitudinal wire machine).

'Sequence' tab

Panel number:
Cross shutter section:
x coordinate:
y coordinate:
Diameter:
Length:
Angle:
Bar type:
Mesh number:
Free bars:

You can enter ranking numbers to set the sequence for the cross bars.

Bandwidth for x and y coordinates:

Where there are very small differences (e.g., at sloping edges), you can enter a range within which sequencing by coordinates is disabled and you can use other sequencing parameters.

'Sequence no.' tab

Bottom cross bars layer 1:
Bottom cross bars layer 2:

Top cross bars layer 1:
Top cross bars layer 2:

If the cross bars are to be sequenced according to bar type, you can enter which bar type has priority here.

These "bottom" cross bars are used in slabs, wall elements and for the bottom reinforcement in hollow plank units. These "top" cross bars are only used for the top reinforcement of hollow plank units.
