Floating viewports freely

Viewports

You can float viewports freely on screen, making them independent of the Allplan application window. You can use free-floating viewports as you would any other Windows application window.

Note: When you exit Allplan, the program closes all viewports, including the free-floating ones.

To float a viewport

1. Point to the title of the viewport you want to float.
2. Press and hold down the left mouse button.
3. Drag the viewport to its new position outside the Allplan application window. Then release the mouse button.

   Note: It is the position of the cursor that is important. To float a viewport, you must position the cursor outside the working area.
