Enter Stirrup Mesh

You can use the Enter Stirrup Mesh tool to define the bending shape of a stirrup mesh.

To enter freeform secondary meshes

1. Click Enter stirrup meshes in the Secondary Meshes, Freeform Context toolbar.
2. Select the mesh type to be placed:
   • Click Mesh Type to select a defined mesh type in the list or
   • enter the mesh identifier manually or
   • click Match to copy the settings from a reinforcing steel mesh you have already placed.
3. Enter the parameters of the stirrup mesh.
4. Click one of the bending shapes presented for selection.
5. Enter the concrete covers and the bending shape-specific parameters.
6. Enter the geometry.
7. Click OK to confirm your entries or modify the settings again.
8. Select the label parameters.
9. Place the label for the mesh displayed in section (you can define the text angle before you do this) and, if necessary, create the leader manually.
10. To place the stirrup mesh just created now, choose and/or confirm the placing mode on the Context toolbar.
