Stirrup meshes

Tool(s): Additional Reinforcement

With this tool you can automatically create and place stirrup meshes along a placing line.

To place stirrup meshes automatically

1. Click Additional Reinforcement (How).
   The Edit Element and Element Plan Context toolbars also include this tool.
   

   Activate Additional Reinforcement in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Precast Factories Precast Floor

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Precast Floor

2. On the Additional Reinforcement Context toolbar, click Stirrup Meshes.
3. Specify the presets for the stirrup mesh placement by switching the appropriate buttons.
4. Click OK to confirm the settings.
5. Select either Edge or From-To in the Input options.
6. If you select Edge, you should then click on the placing line. If you select From-To, you should then click the 1st and 2nd points on the placing lines.
7. You can just click on the side of the placing line where the placement is to be made to specify the placing area (e.g., left of right of a vertical placing line).
8. Enter the parameters for automatically creating and placing the stirrup meshes.
9. Click OK to confirm the settings. The reinforcement is displayed.
