You can make the following entries in the dialog line:

• Number of bars
• Copy or enter diameter
• Bar spacing

Use this to enter the length of the bars or girders to be placed. Three options are provided:

• Enter the value manually or
• Click the edge of a component or a reinforcement element to adopt the length of the line clicked or
• Click two points to define the start and end of the bar.
  

Note:
If the Anchorage up to edge on both sides preset is active, you cannot select the bar length.

You can use this to enter the anchorage length of the bars or girders (a delta length exceeding the defined line or recess edge) at the keyboard. The program automatically adjusts the length of the bars or girders.

Note:
The Anchorage length (start) box is not available for secondary and shear girders if the Anchorage up to edge on both sides or Anchorage up to edge at start preset is active.

The Anchorage length (end) box is not available for secondary and shear girders if the Anchorage up to edge on both sides or Anchorage up to edge at end preset is active.

The value for secondary bars, which is proposed by the program, can be changed.

• If the Bar displacement in positive direction button is enabled, then the program displaces the bars in this placement parallel to the positive direction by the amount entered in the data entry field for the bar displacement below.
• If the Bar displacement in negative direction button is enabled, then the program displaces the whole placement in the negative direction by the amount entered in the data entry field.
• If you select Cancel bar displacement, the placement arrangement that is symmetrical with respect to the placing lines is moved by the value entered.

Use this to define the bar shape. Select a shape in the list presented. The position of the bends is dependent on the concrete cover defined beforehand. If you enter the concrete cover at the top, create a bar in the top layer. The bends presented point downwards. If you entered the concrete cover at the bottom, the bends point upwards.

1. In the list box, select a shape for the start and end:
   • Shape 1: Start or End or
   • Shape 2: Start or End or
   • Shape 3: Start or End or
   • Shape 4: Start or End or
   • Shape 5: Start or End or
   • Shape 6: Start or End or
   • Shape 7: Start or End or
   • Shape 8: Start or End or
   • Shape 9: Start or End or
2. The parameters vary depending on the shape you selected.
3. Select a hook at the start and end of the bar, where applicable.
4. Click OK to confirm the bending shape.

You can use this to swap the start and end of a bar placement.

Click / or / to switch the start point. Depending on the selected placing angle, you can choose between

• and .

Click Layer depth to define the offset of the placement to the principal spatial plane. You can enter the value manually or use the layer depth in a view that is orthogonal to the reference view. To adopt the layer depth, click the layer in the corresponding view.
