Model connections, parameters

Tool(s): Model Connections

The following parameters are provided in the dialog box:

Enter outline

Polyline

You can enter any outline in the area of a connection or wall junction in plan or in any view of the precast element and define the extents by entering values in the dialog line or by clicking points in a reference view.

Lengthen wall leaf

This option is only available when you select the tool in the Precast Wall module. You can lengthen or shorten the entire width of a leaf or component at a height specified. The leaf or component can only be selected in plan.

Interaction with precast element

You can specify whether the object entered is added to the precast element (Positive) or whether it cuts out the precast element (Negative).

General display

When you check the Construction lines box, the modeled element is displayed as construction lines and can thus be disabled in Show/Hide and the Print Preview.

When the according to general settings option is enabled, the settings on the Format toolbar are used. Otherwise, the settings you make here apply.

Plan view

When the Create hatching/pattern/fill option is enabled, the settings you make here are used to make things more apparent on screen.

Note: The selected color is only displayed when the Color stands for pen option is disabled in Show/Hide.
