General information

The options that are available to you in the other areas of the dialog box depend on the settings you make here.

Division for partition

(Check box) Specifies whether variants for connecting partition walls are taken into account. Checking this box activates the Axis option. However, you can choose a different option at any time.

Division for column

(Check box) Specifies whether walls are divided in the areas adjacent to columns. The manner in which the joints are created depends on the position of the column. You can enter a value for eccentricity in the Joint area.

Miter for double wall

(Check box) Specifies whether double wall junctions are created with miters. This setting depends on whether miters can be formed. In general, miters are created at the exterior angle as the joint at the interior angle projects into the cavity to be concreted.

Division for partition

Select the variant for connecting partition walls. If you do not want to divide the elements, deactivate this check box in the General area.

Axis: the outer leaf of the double wall is divided at the axis. Concrete walls and wall panels are always divided; the joint depends on the definitions you have made for the connection.

Side: a wall side of the partition wall is lengthened and the outer leaf of the double wall is divided there. Concrete walls and wall panels are always divided; the joint depends on the definitions you have made for the connection.

Partition long

For double walls, the formwork for the connecting partition walls is pushed into wall chases in the exterior wall.

Joint

Width

Size of joint.

Offset value

When joints are placed manually within double walls, the joint of the two shutters is offset by the value entered. You can enter positive and negative values.

Eccentricity

When there are columns behind a wall, this value is taken into account for wall division.

Miter for double wall

Angle symmetry

Angle symmetry has the effect that both shutters remain at half the joint width from the intersection point of the walls.

Miter at obtuse angle

If this check box is enabled, miters are formed as 45° miters for straight wall joints (angle between the walls is 180°) and for manual joints within the wall.

45 degrees only

If this check box is enabled, all miters for double walls are 45° miters, even for very obtuse angles. In particular, this is necessary for automatic production plants (MRP device) if the machine is only equipped with 45° cross shutters.

Inverse

Inverse formation of miters for double walls. The inverse form of miter helps with joints on site.

Miter at right angles

If this check box is enabled, 45° miters are applied to the longer leaves of wall joints at an angle of 90°.
