You can define support conditions for any placing edge and recess edge. Enter the desired conditions in the dialog box.
Click Match to copy the parameters from an existing support.
'Supports' tab
Supports
Suuport or width [cm]
Enter a positive or a negative value. The value you enter for hollow core elements, prestressed hollow core elements and TT slabs should be within the limits specified. You can fix the width of supports that are parallel to the span direction and then continue with the fixed value. If the width is not fixed, the program will attempt to define the support width within the limits entered.
When you have selected Roof elements for the type, you can select the Adjust to perpendicular option in the list box. In this case, you cannot enter the width as the supports are calculated automatically at the hip/ridge and/or valley/eaves. The elements are moved on the roof plane in such a way that their outlines and a plane that is perpendicular to the global xy plane and that passes through the ridge or valley line touch (i.e. have a point in common).
Depending on the slab type, you can make additional settings:
Reinforcement or bottom / top bar layer
Bar overlap [cm]
Enter a positive or a negative value.
Bending shape
Click the check box or the switch with the bending shape to define or modify a bending shape. You can select a bending shape and define its dimensions. Then you can save it to a favorite file using . Click
to retrieve settings you have already saved in a favorite file.
When you have defined a bending shape, a check mark appears. Clicking this check mark removes the current bending shape.
You can use the Up option to unfold the bending shape of the top layer upward.
'Chamfers' tab
The chamfers are displayed as soon as you confirm. They also appear in the window of the Edit Element tool and in the element plan. In production planning (lists, external single slab schemas), chamfers can be displayed as linear fixtures when the name of a fixture starts with "Slop".
Name
This is where you can enter text that is used to label the chamfers. This text is displayed together with the support label. If you have configured the program to create the text based on the pattern and variable, the text is entered automatically in accordance with the settings made. You can overwrite this text.
Chamfer at top/bottom
Enter values for the relevant chamfer here.
'Fixture 1' + 'Fixture 2' tabs
By specifying two different fixtures with different height settings on the Fixtures 1 and Fixtures 2 tabs, you can create indentations in the hollow blocks at the upper side and concrete pads at the lower side of the slab in a single operation. For example, this is very useful for hollow core elements.
Use
Type and offset to edge
If this check box is enabled, the fixtures you have selected are created.
Offset to edge
[cm] Horizontal distance between the fixture’s reference point and the panel edge. Entering a positive value moves the fixture in the direction of the element's inside.
Height
Top level of slab / Bottom level of slab
You can associate the fixture with the top or bottom level of the slab and enter the Offset of the fixture’s reference point from the top or bottom level of the slab in [cm]. Entering a positive value moves the fixture in the positive, global z direction.
Placement mode
from middle of panel edge outward on both sides / from start of panel edge / from end of panel edge
Specify how fixtures are placed and enter the following offsets in [cm].
Offset: distance between the individual fixtures.
First offset: edge offset of first fixture when fixtures are placed from the start or end of the panel edge. The value you enter is based on the fixture's reference point.
Minimum offset: minimum distance between the end of the placement and the edge. The value you enter is based on the fixture's reference point.
in each hollow block / in specific hollow block numbers / in each web / in specific web numbers
These additional settings are available for hollow core elements and prestressed hollow core elements. Enter the relevant Placement numbers.
