Tool(s): FEA Reinforcement
Import FEA Files
You can use this tool to import files generated by various FEA applications into Allplan. See also Import FEA Files.
Select FEA drawing file
You can use this tool to select a FEA drawing file in the Select drawing file dialog box.
Max. reinforcement area (asx bottom) [cm²/m]
Max. reinforcement area (asy bottom) [cm²/m]
These values are displayed for information if the Propose reinf. based on max. as-value per panel option in the General tab of the FEA calculation configuration for attached reinforcement is not active.
They indicate the maximum reinforcement area asx or asy of the entire placing region and are used to create the meshes in the individual slab elements.
As, xsi/As, eta
This button is available if the Propose reinf. based on max. as-value per panel option in the General tab of the FEA calculation configuration for attached reinforcement is active.
Click this button to check and, if necessary, adjust the maximum values per panel to make sure that areas that require a high percentage of reinforcement (because of singularities, for example) are not included when reinforcement is calculated automatically.
Place transverse reinforcement in precast element
When you enable this function, the transverse reinforcement is placed in the precast element.
Place transverse reinforcement on precast element
When you enable this function, the transverse reinforcement is placed on the precast element. In this case, enter a percentage for the transverse reinforcement in the precast element.
Floor reinforcement parameters
You can use this function to modify various parameters of the slab reinforcement.
Place joint meshes yes/no
Option to place joint meshes.
Which meshes are taken from the cross-section catalogs depends on this entry:
Joint mesh type for splice reinforcement
The joint mesh type selected automatically is displayed here.
Max. as Value for splice reinforcement
This value is displayed for information only.
