Slab reinforcement parameters

Tool(s): FEA Entry + FEA Reinforcement

The following parameters are available in the dialog box. The parameters that are actually available to you depend on the function selected.

Span direction for top reinf. layer

Enter a value for the direction of span in [degrees]. Click to change the direction of span in the active placement field by +90 degrees.

Concrete cover for top reinf. layer

[m] Enter a value for the concrete cover of the top reinforcement layer.

Increase the reinforcement required in the bottom layer by

[%] You have the option to increase the reinforcement required in the bottom layer.

Composite zone

Used for calculating the anchorage lengths.

Redistribution factor

Top layer [0.85 - 1.00]

You have the option to enter a redistribution factor (between 0.85 and 1.00) for the top layer.

Bottom layer [1.00 - 1.15]

You have the option to enter a redistribution factor (between 1.00 and 1.15) for the bottom layer.
