FEA entry

Precast Floor module

You can use the FEA Entry tool to lay the foundations for FEA calculations. This requires an architectural slab.

To make FEA entries

1. Click FEA Entry (How).
   

   Activate FEA Entry in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Precast Factories Precast Floor

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Precast Floor

2. Click the architectural slab.
3. Define the slab reinforcement parameters.
4. Save the data as an ASCII file in the I_O folder (e.g. ...\Allplan...\USR\LOCAL\I_O).
5. Click the next slab or press ESC to quit the tool.
   

Note: If you calculate elements with different concrete grades for the precast element and the in-situ concrete, Allplan always uses the poorer grade for exporting data in compliance with the regulations.
