When you have carried out structural calculations for a slab panel, the program uses these values. Otherwise, the program calculates the values for a single-span beam.
Lateral force area
vEd
This is the value of the lateral force at the support edge.
Analysis of lateral force area
Offset
The effective depth d proposed. This value is used for direct supports.
vEd,red
This is the value of the reduced lateral force at the support edge, taking into account the offset you defined.
vRd,ct/vRd,c
This is the design value of lateral force resistance. The longitudinal reinforcement grade has an effect on this value.
If the design value is exceeded, the program selects the Shear reinforcement required check box.
Analysis of bond area
vEd/vEdi
This is the value of the shear force in accordance with the lateral force at the support edge. The kz value has an effect on this value.
vRd,ct/vRd,j/vRdi
This is the design value of the maximum shear force or the design value of the maximum shear force in the joint. The surface property and the Joint under tension option have an effect on this value.
If the design value is exceeded, the program selects the Connecting reinforcement required check box.
