Controlling the view using the mouse

To use the mouse in design mode

1. Check that navigation mode is not active in the relevant viewport.

   Have a look at the viewport toolbar:
   The Navigation Mode icon must not be pressed in.

   Or

   Move the cursor into the relevant viewport.
   If the crosshairs appear, navigation mode is not active.

2. Now you have the following options:
   • You can pan by pressing and holding down the middle mouse button.
   • Turn the mouse wheel to enlarge or reduce the area around the cursor.
   • If you want to zoom in on a section, press and hold down the right mouse button while enclosing the section in a selection rectangle.
   • Double-click the middle mouse button to display the entire design.

     Note: You can make different settings for the functions of the mouse buttons in the Options on the Mouse and crosshairs page.
