Tool(s): Static Supports, Line Support + Modify Static Supports, Line Support + Divide Static Supports
The following parameters are provided in the dialog box:
Material
The selection of materials for the supports is taken into account in the calculations for the permissible pressures. This tool has not yet been implemented.
Eccentricity
Enter the distance between the line entered (the automatically created support line coincident with the central axis of the wall) and the static support line.
Direct/Indirect support
Select the support type (direct/indirect) in compliance with DIN 1045.

Joint
You can enter a joint, normally for double panel bearing supports. For edge supports you can use this setting to e.g., introduce a thermal movement gap between the slab and the wall.
To determine the support line of double panel bearing supports, the system takes into account half the joint width of the support width set. For edge supports the total joint width is assigned to the left/right support width.
The width of the joint is taken into account when the program automatically creates support widths.
Form of support
Free to rotate
Restrained
Degree of restraint
Used for the degree of restraint if you have selected a restrained form of support.
By entering the degree of restraint, you can model a partial restraint to movement or rotation at the support. The value must be between 0% (free to rotate) and 100% (fully restrained).
The two parameters mentioned below are only available in the Modify Static Supports, Line Support tool (How).
Support width left/right relative to the input direction
When the type is set to edge support, one of the two support widths has to be zero.
