'Sample' tab

You can use the following parameters to define the placement pattern.

Element to be placed:

Selection box of the brick/tile catalog. Only entries of the Tile type are presented for selection.

Sample:

You can specify whether an Offset, which you can enter in the box below, is to be applied to the elements or not. This offset is in the direction of the length.

Joint width / Joint depth:

Values for the continuous joint width and the joint depth.

Note: The Joint depth is defined only for transfer to production data. It is not accounted for geometrically.

Consider grid dimensions:

You can configure the program to check whether the placement pattern complies with the specified Grid dimensions for the length and height. If this option is selected and the grid dimensions specified cannot be complied with due to the current element geometry, the program will issue a warning. Although the tiles are created, the element is marked as illegal.

To comply with the grid dimensions, you need to make sure that the element's length and height are each equal to 2 times the specified edge offset plus n times the grid dimension for length/height minus the joint width.

There is no coordination between the grid dimensions and the element division.
