Layer adjustment

After you have placed a connection, the toolbox of the palette offers the two Layer adjustment and Delete layer adjustments tools, which you can apply to the current connection.

Using Layer adjustment, you can model the existing connection. With the exception of custom connections, you can only shorten layers. It is not possible to lengthen layers, so that they extend into another precast element.

To adjust the layers for a wall connection

1. Select Layer adjustment and then click the layer to be adjusted with the left mouse button.
2. You can shorten the layer by pointing to an existing point and entering the relative coordinates in the dialog line.
3. After this, you can select the next layer or quit the tool by pressing ESC.
4. To delete all layer adjustments you created manually for the current connection, click Delete layer adjustments.

Tip: If you require a connection that differs only slightly from a default connection, you can modify the default connection using Layer adjustment and save the result as a favorite, which you can retrieve later when needed.
