Correcting individual export files

Sending layouts and other files using Allplan Exchange (how to)

If you find that the current package includes incorrect export files (e.g. wrong layout contents, incorrect export settings), you do not need to set up all the export files again. You can simply delete the relevant files from the package, correct the errors and create the files again.

To replace an incorrect export file

• The Export dialog box (How) is open
  

  Activate the Export dialog box in one of the following ways

  • The Layout module is open.
  • Allplan Exchange dialog box (How) is open.
    

    Activate the Allplan Exchange dialog box in one of the following ways

    • The Layout module is open.

    • Menu bar: Create Layout Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution

    • Toolbar: Basic Tools Layout flyout Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution
    • Palette: Tools Basic family Create area Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution

  • Menu bar: ---

  • Toolbar: ---
  • Palette: ---
  • Button: Export... (at bottom right)
  • Shortcut menu: ---

1. Go to the relevant line in the Progress column and click Delete temporary file.
2. Click Close to quit the Export and Allplan Exchange dialog boxes.
3. Correct the error in Allplan. For example, change the contents of the layout or the settings for the export format.
4. Then open Allplan Exchange dialog box (How) and the Export dialog box (How) again.
5. Click Start.

   The file you deleted in the first step is set up again.
