Pattern line on/off

Using pattern lines

You can use the Pattern Line on/off tool to enable/disable pattern line mode. When you activate this tool, all the geometric entities you create from now are drawn as pattern lines (e.g. lines, circles, rectangles). The parameters set in Pattern Line Settings are applied.

To draw elements as a pattern line

1. Click Pattern Line on/off (How).
   

   Activate Pattern Line on/off in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Format

   • Toolbar: Format

   Each new element will now be drawn as a pattern line.

2. Click Pattern Line on/off again to quit this mode.

Note: Please note that the pattern line parameters Miter, Joint etc. only work when the pattern line is created as a polyline with Polyline.
Tools like Rectangle or Polygon do not create polylines.
