Using pattern lines

You can use the Pattern Line Settings tool to set the parameters for pattern lines.

Note: To draw a pattern line, click Pattern Line on/off (Format toolbar) and then use Line, Circle, Rectangle, etc. to draw the pattern line.

To define a pattern line

1. Click Pattern Line Settings (How).
   

   Activate Pattern Line Settings in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Format

   • Toolbar: Format
2. Set the parameters of the pattern line.
3. Click OK to confirm the settings.

Example
