Save, Load View

Using Save, Load View, you save the current view under a name of your choice or retrieve a view you saved beforehand.

You can save up to 50 views, allowing you to switch between frequently used views quickly and easily. Views are saved in a user-specific manner.

To save a view

• You have not loaded a saved view. Consequently, the Save, Load View icon is not pressed in.

1. Set the section and view as you need.
2. Click Save, Load View (How).
   

   Activate Save, Load View in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: View

   • Toolbar: Viewport toolbar

   The Save, Load View dialog box opens.

3. Click New, enter a name and press ENTER to confirm.
4. Click Close.

To retrieve a saved view

• You have not loaded a saved view. Consequently, the Save, Load View icon is not pressed in.

1. Click Save, Load View (How).

   The Save, Load View dialog box opens.

2. Select the name of the view you want to use.
3. Click Load.

To switch the loaded view off again

• You have loaded a saved view. Consequently, the Save, Load View icon is pressed in.

• Click Save, Load View (How).

Note: As long as Save, Load View is active ( icon is pressed in), the Zoom All tool does not show the entire design. Rather, it shows the saved view.
