Navigation Mode

Navigation Mode enables the navigation mode in the current viewport. In this mode, you can use the mouse to view a 3D model.

Note: in navigation mode, you can navigate in sphere mode or in camera mode (keep the CTRL key pressed down).

If you want to identify a point while designing an element, you can switch to design mode by deactivating navigation mode again.

To switch to navigation mode

• You are working in design mode.

• On the viewport toolbar, click Navigation Mode so that the icon looks like pressed.

Or

• On the View menu, click Navigation Mode so that the icon looks like pressed.

Or

• Press CTRL + D.

To switch to design mode

• You are working in navigation mode.

• On the viewport toolbar, click Navigation Mode so that the icon looks like not pressed.

Or

• On the View menu, click Navigation Mode so that the icon looks like not pressed.

Or

• Press CTRL + D.
