Allplan Exchange dialog box

In the Contacts dialog box (How) you can select the contacts who are to receive the current package. These contacts are transferred to the contact list of the Allplan Exchange dialog box.

Activate the Contacts dialog box in one of the following ways

• The Layout module is open.
• Allplan Exchange dialog box (How) is open.
  

  Activate the Allplan Exchange dialog box in one of the following ways

  • The Layout module is open.

  • Menu bar: Create Layout Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution

  • Toolbar: Basic Tools Layout flyout Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution
  • Palette: Tools Basic family Create area Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution
• You have logged in to Allplan Exchange using the Allplan workstation.

Add and edit contacts using Allplan Exchange Web

Opens the relevant area of the Allplan Exchange Web web platform, where you maintain the contact list. There you can add new contacts, update existing ones and assign contacts to specific projects thus creating project partners.

Update contacts

Updates the contact list of the current project after you have changed assignments using the Allplan Exchange Web web platform.

Area on the left: filter criterion or sorting criterion

You can select a criterion that filters or sorts the entries in the Contacts column in the middle:

All contacts

Displays the contacts that are assigned as project members to the current project. The contacts are sorted alphabetically by last name.

Note: Use the Allplan Exchange Web web platform to assign project members to a project. To change the list of project members, click Add and edit contacts using Allplan Exchange Web.

By company

Displays all the contacts in the Allplan Exchange contact list. The contacts are sorted by company.

Note: Use the Allplan Exchange Web web platform to categorize the contacts.

By category

Displays all the contacts in the Allplan Exchange contact list. The contacts are sorted by category.

Area in the middle: contacts

Selection of contacts

Displays the contacts in accordance with the Filter criterion or sorting criterion set in the left column. To select a contact, select the corresponding check box. This contact is added to the contact list of the Allplan Exchange dialog box as soon as you quit this dialog box.

Area on the right: details of the current contact

Name / Company / Department / and so on

Displays the details of a contact as specified using the Allplan Exchange Web web platform.

Buttons

Add

Transfers the selected contacts to the contact list of the Allplan Exchange dialog box.

Cancel

Cancels the current operation and discards all entries and/or changes.
