What if the following problems occur?

• The program displays messages such as The polyline does not form a closed figure or Error updating dimension lines.
• An opening cannot be inserted in a wall
• A straight wall is missing its axis
• Individual components are suddenly displayed with fills in construction line color (Architectural fill element info)
• The sum of rooms totals zero
• Lists and schedules can no longer be created
• There are strange results in animated mode
• Difficulties occur when trying to insert a window opening
• The default reference planes cannot be modified

Possible reasons:

There might be corrupt components.

You can solve the problems mentioned above in several ways. Go through these steps one after the other until the problems no longer occur.

Step 2: check and fix corrupt component geometries

Step 3: check custom reference planes for defects

Step 4: check coordinates of components and move them near the origin

Step 5: check factor and component height (for rooms, floor areas, ... of which the total is zero)
