Starting Frilo disc

You can use the Start Frilo Disc tool to start the FE program for discs provided by FRILO Software GmbH.
When you exit the program, Allplan generates the results and imports them to the drawing file specified.

To start the FE program for discs

• Save the drawing file under a meaningful name before you select this tool. The FE program will use this name when it saves the results.

1. Click Start Frilo Disc (How).
   

   Activate Start Frilo Disc in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Frilo Structural Analyses Frilo Disc

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Frilo Disc

   The FE program for discs starts automatically.

2. Make entries and calculate the data in the FE program.
3. Exit the FE program and click Save.
4. Transfer the FEA results to Allplan by selecting the drawing file to which you want to import the results.

   This is only possible when you have quit the FE program by choosing the Save option, which saves the results with the name of the drawing file in the FE program for discs.
   

Note: If you have not started the FE program for discs straight from Allplan or if you want to save the results under a different name, export them before you quit the FE program so that you can import them into Allplan using the Import FEA Files tool.
