Exporting Frilo disc data

Module(s): Frilo Disc

You can use the Export Frilo Disc Data tool to save architectural components to an ASCII file. You can then import the geometric data of this file to the FE program for discs provided by FRILO Software GmbH, where you can use the data as the basis for calculations.

To save architectural components ito an ASCII file

  1. Click Export Frilo Disc Data (How).
  2. Select the architectural components you want to transfer.
  3. Specify the path and file name.

Note: Allplan saves the geometric data only when you have selected an architectural wall.

  4. Start the FE program for discs provided by FRILO Software GmbH and import the geometric data using File - Import - ASCII.

The program creates the system based on the architectural components.

  5. Complete the entries in the FE program and calculate the data there.
  6. Before you quit the FE program, export the results so that you can import them into Allplan using the Import FEA Files tool.
