Modifying attributes of instances of SmartParts

You can use the Modify SmartPart Instance's Attributes tool to change the attributes of an instance of a SmartPart. The approach is the same as with Modify Smart Symbol Instance's Attributes.

To modify the attributes of a single instance of a SmartPart

1. Click Modify SmartPart Instance's Attributes (How).
   

   Activate Modify SmartPart Instance's Attributes in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Tools, Customize – Additional tools with icon category
2. Select the instance of the SmartPart whose attributes you want to modify.
3. Modify the SmartPart properties
4. Click OK to apply your settings.
