Mesh reports

Module(s): Mesh Reinforcement

You can use Mesh Reports to create a report including the mark-specific parameters of meshes and bent-up meshes. Various reports are provided.
MWS meshes are not included in reports.

Reports are used for analyzing data in Allplan. They are saved as templates in RDLC format.

Reports can be printed, placed as PDF files in documents and exported to Excel and other formats.
You can change the layout of reports and save the result as a new template.

To create a report

1. Click Mesh Reports (How).
   

   Activate Mesh Reports in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Engineering Mesh Reinforcement

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Mesh Reinforcement

   • Configuration: Engineering List/Schedules flyout
2. The Reports dialog box opens. Select the folder and report and then click Open.

   Tip: Clicking Default on the left takes you to the module-specific reports.

3. Select the reinforcement elements to be listed.
   

   • To select a single element, click it.
   • To select elements in a region, use the left mouse button to open a selection rectangle around the elements you want to select
   • To include all the elements in the current document, click All in the Input options or press CTRL+A. Please note that this option is not available for all tools.

   For more information on the options available for selecting elements in Allplan, see Selecting elements, overview.

   When selecting elements, you can use the Filter Assistant to apply a filter based on element types and/or properties. For more information, see Filter Assistant.

   • Click Find Elements in the input options to find marks based on advanced criteria.
   • Select the reinforcement elements by clicking them, enclosing them in a selection rectangle or fence, or using the bracket tool
     Or:
     Double-click with the right mouse button or click All in the input options to select all the marks.
4. The report is displayed in the Report Viewer and you can edit it as follows:
   • You can customize the report,
   • Print it,
   • Place it in the current document,
   • Save it as a file in Excel, PDF or Word format, or
   • Edit it using the Layout Designer.
     You can save changes as a new template in RDLC format.
5. Print or save the report.
   You can also print the list to file. You can then distribute this print file electronically. If the list exceeds one page, you can specify whether you want to include all the pages in the print file or selected ones only.
