Modifying placement parameters

Module(s): Bar Reinforcement + Mesh Reinforcement + BAMTEC

You can use the Modify Placement Parameters tool to modify the placement parameters of bar or mesh area reinforcement.
You cannot use this tool to modify MWS meshes.

To modify the parameters of bar or mesh area reinforcement

1. Click Modify Placement Parameters (How).
   

   Activate Modify Placement Parameters in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Engineering Bar Reinforcement/Mesh Reinforcement/BAMTEC

   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   Bar Reinforcement

   Mesh Reinforcement

   BAMTEC

   • Configuration: Engineering Engineering Modify flyout
2. Click the placement whose parameters you want to change.
3. Depending on the reinforcement type, you can adjust the parameters of the bar placement or the parameters of the mesh placement.
4. Click OK to confirm. The placement is updated to reflect the changes.
   

Note: After having opened and confirmed the dialog box without making any changes, you can modify the overlap display of meshes displayed in sections (if you have selected the corresponding setting in the options defining the representation of mesh reinforcement).
