Modify placement

Module(s): Bar Reinforcement

You can use the Modify Placement tool to modify all the parameters of a placement. You can even redefine the placing region.

To modify the properties of a reinforcing bar placement

1. Click Modify Placement (How).
   

   Activate Modify Placement in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Engineering Bar Reinforcement

   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   Bar Reinforcement

   • Configuration: Engineering Engineering Modify flyout
2. Select the placement to be modified by clicking a bar, the dimension line or the text for the placement.
3. Adjust the relevant parameters on the Modify Placement Context toolbar.
   

Note: Bar reinforcement can be modified using the Properties palette.
The placing length, diameter, spacing or number of pieces can be modified using handles.
