Aligned Slab Mark

You can use the Aligned Slab Mark tool to create slab marks at any angle. Options are provided that let you set the mark's scope and appearance as well as text parameters.
As opposed to the Aligned Mark tool, a diagonal line is used to clearly show the scope of the mark.

To create an aligned slab mark

1. Click Aligned Slab Mark (How).
   

   Activate Aligned Slab Mark in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Engineering Key Plan

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Key Plan

2. Click an icon on the Aligned Slab Mark Context toolbar for the static direction of load.
   

   The following directions of load are available

   no direction of load

   horizontal direction of load

   vertical direction of load

   direction of load on all sides

   direction of load down

   direction of load to the left

   direction of load to the up

   direction of load to the right

3. Select a shape for the mark’s border.
   

   The following shapes are available:

   rectangular

   oval

   round

   octagonal

   In the case of and you can enter a number between 1 and 9 to define a constant size. If you enter 0, the size changes dynamically with the text.

4. Enter the length of the direction of load arrows by entering a value in the Arrow box.
5. Use the following parameters to assist you:
   • Plus Text to add text that will appear with the mark text.
   • Leader to add a leader.
   • Numbe + to enable automatic numbering.
     

     If this option is activated, the number entered as mark text increases by one each time the mark is placed.

     This function refers only to numbers which are at the end of the mark text.

6. Click to display the toolbar for general text settings.
7. When you have made all the necessary settings, set the start and end points of a diagonal line. (the center of this diagonal line defines the drop-in point):
   • by accepting the text proposed by the system
   • after entering the text for the mark at the keyboard
   • after clicking an existing text to copy it
8. After you have set the drop-in point, enter the angle of rotation.
9. If you activated Plus Text or Leader the system will prompt you for the additional information and/or for the leader points.
