3D Modeling module
Engineering family
Module(s): 3D Modeling
Application
- For creating a 3D drawing.
- You want to create a 3D general arrangement drawing that does not contain architectural components like columns, beams and walls.
- You want to create predefined engineering components (e.g. precast columns) that can be selected in a catalog and customized.
Notes
- A 3D general arrangement drawing considerably facilitates the process of placing reinforcement using the 3D model (see chapter "Reinforce with or without 3D model?").
- Views and sections can be created in two ways:
- Using the tools in the
Associative Views module: any changes in the component geometry or reinforcement are automatically displayed in all the views and sections. - Using the tools in the
Shell module: any changes in the component geometry or reinforcement are automatically displayed in all the views and sections.
- Create dimensions using the tools in the
Dimension Lines module. You can also use module-specific dimensions for associative views.
