You can use this dialog box to modify the properties assigned to the layout element when it was placed.
Document number
The drawing file number or number of the NDW file and the document type are displayed for information.
Document name
The drawing file name or path of the NDW is displayed for information.
You can replace the layout element by clicking . The new layout element is placed so that it is congruent.
Scale
You can change the scale of the layout element by selecting an entry in the list box or entering any value.
Angle
You can change the angle of the layout element by entering any value.
Check that the text direction option is active to ensure that the text can be read.
Font factor
You can change the text height defined in the file. You can enter a value between 0.01 and 1000.
Drawing type
You can change the drawing type by selecting an entry in the list box. The drawing type defines how line styles and area styles are displayed. When the drawing type is set to Scale definition, the line styles and area styles change with the scale.
This setting is the same as the one you make in the Element Visibility from Layers in Layout dialog box, which you can open by clicking the Layer/print set button (see next parameter).
Layer/print set
The 'Element Visibility from Layers in Layout' dialog box opens. You can change the visibility of the elements of the layout element in accordance with the layers.
Text direction
The system aligns text and labels so that they conform to DIN 1356, i.e. so that they can be read from left to right. You can use this check box to control this setting.
Superordinate pen, line, color
You can specify whether a specific pen, line or color is to be used to print all the elements of the layout element. You can select the pen, line or color in the list box.
Superordinate fills
You can specify whether a specific color is to be used to print all the fills of the layout element. You can select the color in the list box.
Surface elements
You can specify how fills are printed. Surface elements can be set so that they are all hidden.
If you have not defined a superordinate color, the colors of the elements are used with the Brightened superordinate color for fills setting. If you use superordinate fills, you cannot select surface elements.
Note: You can use Save as a Favorite to save the settings and
Load Favorite to read the settings back into the dialog box, where you can modify them. All the settings except the scale are saved in the favorite file.
