You can use this dialog box to define the visibility of layout elements in accordance with the layers. You can define this setting while you are placing layout elements using Layout Element (How) or
NDW Layout Element (How). To modify the layer visibility settings for layout elements you have already placed, you can use
Transfer Layer Visibility (How),
List Layout Elements (How) or
Modify Layout Window (How).
Note: Whether elements you created directly in a layout are visible or not depends on the current layer setting.
Visibility in layout element
You can see the layers and their current status. In the Contents of list box area, you can specify whether Allplan is to display the entire layer hierarchy or only the layers in the layout elements placed.
Print set
This is where you can select the print set if you have selected the Print set, current setting of the selected print set option. However, this requires a defined pint set.
Drawing type
Use this to select the drawing type. When the drawing type is set to Scale definition, the line styles and area styles change with the scale.
Visibility, saving mode, behavior
You can specify how the visibility of elements is to change with the visibility of layers. For more information, see Setting the layer visibility in layouts.
Contents of list box
List layers in layout element
This setting only lists the layers in the layout elements you are currently placing.
List entire layer hierarchy
This setting lists all the layers in the hierarchy.
Show visible / hidden layers
You can specify which layers are displayed in the area on the left. For example, you can display only the hidden layers and change their status, if necessary.
Status
You can specify the layer status (Visible or Hidden). This is only possible if the Fixed, save layer setting in the layout element (fixed) option is active.
