Exchange favorite 15: import - paper space with several layouts

A file may contain several AutoCAD layouts. You can use this exchange favorite if you have been given a DWG file with several AutoCAD layouts. Allplan creates a separate layout for each AutoCAD layout and one drawing file with the layer structure for AutoCAD's model space.

Application	This exchange favorite can only be used in layout edit mode.
Import	AutoCAD paper space -> Allplan layouts
Export	This exchange favorite is not suitable for exporting data.
Result	A separate Allplan layout is created for each AutoCAD layout. AutoCAD's model space is imported to a drawing file with layers.
Layers only	AutoCAD layers cannot be arranged on drawing files during the import process. It is essential that you work with layers.

Note: Check the AutoCAD specific tab, Layouts included area, to see whether the DWG file contains data from AutoCAD's model space. You can use the preview to display the AutoCAD layouts in the file via the shortcut menu (see exchange favorite 10).
