Assigning types of openings

Using opening types

To assign a type of opening to a smart symbol folder

1. Open the Library palette in one of the following ways:
   • Click Smart Symbol Catalog (How).
     

     Activate Smart Symbol Catalog in one of the following ways

     • Menu bar: Create Bonus Tools Smart Symbols

     • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

     Smart Symbols

   • Open the Library palette.
     If you want to see only smart symbols, click Filter and hide Symbols and SmartParts.
2. Point to the folder to which you want to assign an opening type and click Modify.
3. Point to Creates an opening of the type and click the opening type you want to assign to the folder.

   Note: All the smart symbols in this folder are given the selected opening type. If smart symbols in subfolders are also to be given an opening type, you need to explicitly assign an opening type to these subfolders, too.
