Rotating elements using direct object modification

To rotate elements using direct object modification

• Direct object modification is switched on (see "Switching on direct object modification").

1. Select the elements you want to rotate.
2. Point to the handle you want to use as the rotation point, so that it is displayed in green (or in the current Selection preview color).

   You can use a Point handle or the Central move handle as the rotation point.

   Of if you want to rotate the elements about any other point:

   Point to one of the selected elements (do not get too close to a handle!), so that the symbol is displayed with the crosshairs.

3. Click Rotate in the context toolbar and rotate the selected elements as described in "Rotating elements in plan".
