Switching on direct object modification

To edit elements using direct object modification, you need to select the corresponding option.

To switch on direct object modification

1. On the Default toolbar, click Options.
2. In the Options dialog box, click Desktop environment and select Direct object modification.
3. Select the Display handles option in the Handles area.
4. Click OK to close the Options dialog box.
